Verpex vs Hostinger: A Short Comparison

Are you looking for share hosting for your websites and looking for Verpex vs Hostinger? Well in this tutorial I compared both on the basis of their pricing, performance, customer support, and security.

After this comparison post you will be able to find your favorite one.

Company Background

Verpex

Verpex is a relatively new player in the Web Hosting Space. It was founded in 2018 and it is a London-based company. They have a wide range of hosting solutions including shared hosting, cloud hosting, reseller hosting, VPS hosting, managed cloud, and WordPress hosting.

Verpex shared hosting is the most popular one and quickly gained popularity in the shared hosting industry. With 4.7 ratings on Trustpilot, they have Excellent ratings based on 689 reviews.

They also have domain registration and domain transfer features if you want to keep both domain and hosting in one place.

Hostinger

Hostinger is quite popular as compared to Verpex hosting as it is an old company working in the hosting space. Hostinger was started in 2004 but Hostinger’s name was given in 2011.

It was started as Lithuania-based tech startup, currently serving in 150+ countries. Hostinger developed hPanel which they called as user-friendly alternative to cPanel/WHM.

With a team of 1000+ employees, they offer a wide range of hosting solutions. They offer shared hosting, cloud hosting, VPS hosting, business email, managed WordPress, and Woo-commerce hosting.

They have an excellent rating of 4.6 on Trustpilot based on 28100 reviews.

Hosting Plans and Pricing

Shared hosting is the most popular type of hosting for both Verpex and Hostinger. Here I am comparing pricing for shared hosting only. I compared the 12-month plan for Verpex and Hostinger.

Verpex

Verpex Hosting Pricing

Verpex shared hosting plans start from $2.99. If planning to host only one website their Bronze plan is the best. It will cost you $36 (excl. taxes). If you just want to test it for one month you can also choose their monthly plan which will cost $0.59 for the first month and then but after one month you have to renew it at $5.90/month.

For more than one website and up to 100, you have to pay $4.99/month which will cost you around $60 (excl. taxes).

You can renew Silver plan at $10.00/month and the Bronze plan at $6.00/month.

Hostinger

Hostinger hosting plans start from $2.99/month (Premium) only when you go for 36 months i.e. 4-year plan.

If you want to buy a Premium plan for one year it will cost you $3.19/month which is lesser than Verpex Hosting Business plan for 100 websites.

But again there is one more catch after one year you have to renew the same plan at $9.99/month.

Performance and Reliability

Verpex

Verpex has 8 server location across 5 continents which are Dallas, Canada, New York, London, Frankfurt, India, Singapore, and Australia.

They have NVMe SSD storage even for their basic plan and next-generation AMD EPYC CPUs for ultra-fast speeds.

Lightspeed web server is something that make it a better option among many other hostings those still using Apache. They have PHP Opcode cache solution for caching. I could not find claiming them 99.99% uptime as previously they were claiming at least this much uptime.

Hostinger

Hostinger has server locations in the USA, United Kingdom, France, India, Singapore, Indonesia, Brazil, Lithuania, and the Netherlands.

They claimed to provide 99.99$ uptime with all of their shared hosting plans. With Lightspeed servers they also have blazing fast speed in shared hosting companies.

Hostinger also offers Object Cache for WordPress that can reduce website response time up to 3 times.

Customer Support

Verpex

Verpex offers 24/7 support for direct users and resellers. Support is available via chat, and email.

Verpex claims to have 99.95% Support Case Resolution but they did not mention the time frame in which complaints resolved.

They offer 45-day money back guarantee on all plans which is more than other hosting providers. And they also said they will give you a full refund with no questions asked.

Hostinger

Hostinger offers 24/7 support and is available via Chat and email. Even being and old hosting provider they don’t have phone support.

Yet their chat support is quite good and you don’t need to bother about calling them.

They also have a large database of tutorials and knowledge base covering everything about Hostinger.

With Hostinger you will get 30 days money-back guarantee.

Security and Backups

Verpex

Verpex offers free malware protection with their imunify360 Security solution which is quite interesting. With free malware protection, you don’t need to worry about using Sucuri or Wordfence to protect your website.

They also provide daily backup facility so incase you messed up things on your website you can restore to the previous point.

Outbound emails are routed through Mailchannels or SpamExperts that give good mailing reputation. Free SSL for every domain for you and your reseller account makes it competitive against Hostinger.

Hostinger

Hostinger provides DDoS protection and also provides malware protection. Daily backups are available for Business Plan users while weekly backups are included in all plans.

Free SSL certificates are available for all domains. Hostinger also provides other security features like Two-factor authentication and domain privacy.

Conclusion

Verpex vs Hostinger both hostings are very good options for those looking for shared hosting plans. Verpex reseller hosting is very cost-effective if you want to host websites for your clients. And if you want to host only one website then also Verpex is less costly as compared to Hostinger.

For multiple websites and 3 or 4 years and for multiple website Hostinger can be the better choice.

Hope you find this Hostinger vs Verpex comparison helpful. If yes give me a thumbs up in the comment box below.
